The Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce (LVCC) is the ultimate business resource in Clark County.
The LVCC is the largest, most influential business organization in the state of Nevada and the third-largest local Chamber of Commerce in the United States. Of its over 6,700 members, 85 percent are small businesses with 25 or fewer employees.

A Rich History
 

The Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce (LVCC) has proudly served the Las Vegas business community since 1911. Since its founding, the Chamber has spearheaded important initiatives that have made a difference for small and large businesses in the Las Vegas community. Listed below are just a few highlights representing the Chamber's involvement and accomplishments for nearly a century:

1930s LVCC backed the building of Hoover Dam

1949 LVCC formed Desert Sea News Bureau
1953 LVCC helps to form the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority
1955 LVCC creates the Better Business Bureau
1955 LVCC founds the United Way of Southern Nevada
1991 LVCC forms the Privatization Committee
1993 LVCC spearheads Workers Compensation reform effort
1994 LVCC establishes the Government Affairs Committee that led the Chamber to a 96% candidate endorsement victory
1996 LVCC coins the phrase "City of the Century, Community of the Future"
1997 LVCC purchases and moves into a new building in the prestigious Howard Hughes Complex at 3720 Howard Hughes Parkway
  The LVCC welcomes its 5,000th member
1998 LVCC helps achieve 22% reduction in state worker's compensation premiums
  LVCC achieves 96% candidate endorsement victory
  Las Vegas named #1 city for entrepreneurs by Inc. Magazine
  Las Vegas named #2 city in which to conduct business by Fortune Magazine.
1999 LVCC helped hold the line on government–mandated health care benefits
2000 The LVCC welcomes its 6,000th member
2001 LVCC led the charge to defeat the Teacher’s Union tax initiative
