1969 is remembered as the year that man walked on the moon; Elvis Presley took up residency in Las Vegas and Monty Python's Flying Circus first aired on BBC television
2007 will go down in the history books as the year that the inspired lunacy of Monty Python came to the Grail Theater at Wynn Las Vegas with the smash hit show Monty Python's SPAMALOT
With SPAMALOT, Eric Idle has created a deliriously funny live spectacle which tells the legendary tale of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, and their quest for the Holy Grail. The show features lusty maidens, dancing divas, a killer rabbit and the only legless knight appearing on the Las Vegas Strip.
Monty Python's SPAMALOT will star John O'Hurley, best known as J. Peterman on Seinfeld. O'Hurley was the ultimate champion on season one of Dancing with the Stars and is the new face of Family Feud. O'Hurley, who has worked on stage throughout his career, starred on Broadway in Chicago as Billy Flynn.
The show is written by Eric Idle and is lovingly ripped off from the motion picture Monty Python and the Holy Grail by Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin. SPAMALOT features lyrics and a Grammy Award-winning score by Eric Idle and long-time Python collaborator John Du Prez. The show is directed by Oscar and Tony Award-winning legend Mike Nichols.
A visual spectacular performed in the Le Rêve Theater, a domed theater in the round. Le Rêve is the first of its kind in Las Vegas.
Uniquely intimate and spectacularly personal, no seat is more than 42 feet from the action. The show is a completely new form of staging and artistic performance, where the theater and water are alive with a translucent energy.
Le Rêve is the latest achievement of Franco Dragone, the internationally acclaimed creator and director, whose credits include O, Mystère and Celine Dion's "A New Day", and the creative force behind many of the Cirque du Soleil productions.
The show is performed in the Le Rêve Theater, where water is the main backdrop for the performance and more than 70 performers move in and out of the pool.

In the cosmopolitan tradition of the French cabaret, Norbert Aleman's "An Evening at La Cage" take audiences into the quicksilver world of lipstick, high heels and nine button evening glove, but like it's namesake in Paris, the world of "La Cage" is one of illusion, where things are not always as they appear.
The illusion is carried off by nine female impersonators, headed by Frank Marino as Joan Rivers. But the illusions are more than precise re-creations - cast members seem to become the celebrity objects of their impersonations. First-time visitors to "La Cage" often feel like the viewer of a stunning work of art; at first there's wonder, perhaps curiosity, but as traditional perception gives way to intuitive response, there emerges a revelation of appreciation, an appreciation of the dynamic sensuality that permeates the production.
In addition to an expanded revue which includes the La Cage dancers, new state-of-the-art sound, lighting customs, sets and special effects are used to help create an aura of being in a room full of female superstars doing their best to entertain.
The Fashionistas, John Stagliano's erotically-charged tale of fetish and fantasy, has been chosen as one of "Las Vegas' 10 Best Shows", by the Las Vegas Review Journal. This marks the first ever appearance for a show of this kind on The R-J's 10 Best List, which beat out such mainstream high-budget productions as Celine Dion's "A New Day". Fashionistas also was picked by the staff of the Review Journal as having the Best Choreography of any Vegas show.
The Fashionistas is a gender-blending erotic extravaganza never before seen on the Las Vegas Strip. With staging techniques critics call "muscular and aggressive", Stagliano uses aerialists to come down from overhead and platforms erected behind the audience to create an environment that makes the entire theater feel like a stage.
The costumes designs, ranging from simplistic to stunning, are all memorable. And the large cast and high production values found in such an intimate setting enhance the visceral power of the show.
Utilizing music from Evanescence, Madonna, Tool, Lords of Acid, Crystal Method and Led Zeppelin, the story is told in dance through the mood and words of each song, as well as through the use of dramatic images projected on large video screens.
Stagliano goes the extra steps to add impressive little touches that make a big difference, including having a live drummer accentuate the hard driving sound track. The result is a show that's more erotic than any other show on the strip; it is both humorous and sly without being campy or cheesy.
Las Vegas' "Sexiest Topless Revue" plays in the Mardi Gras Pavilion.
The show features the best of all worlds -- beauty, music, dance and song, and comedian Joe Trammel, in addition to the sexiest showgirls on the Strip.
